Your personal data refers to the information that makes it possible to identify you as distinct from other individuals. In the social life where we establish legal and human relations, it is essential for us to share your personal data.
In this document, we, as Adana Running Club, aim to explain why we need your personal data, how we collect it, and how we process it.
Whose Personal Data Do We Collect?
Within Adana Running Club, apart from our personnel, suppliers, and business partners, we collect the personal data of you, our customers.
- We generate documents such as invoices and receipts—evidence of service performance—using the data provided by customers who register for events through our websites. In this context, we request customers’ full name, contact information, and their declared city of residence.
- We retain the data provided by our participants to facilitate the handling of requests related to event registration issues, such as cancellations or changes.
- We retain the personal data of customers who register through our website for the purpose of establishing the distance participation agreement, completing the registration process, tracking transactions related to the registered event, and communicating any changes. This data is shared with payment intermediary financial institutions and domestic shipping companies with whom we have agreements.
- The information provided by our participants, such as age, gender, and preferred event, whether they register through our office or via our website, is used as data for improving our services, identifying trends in the field we operate in, and for various statistical analyses. These statistical reports are only accessible as general summaries by the relevant department managers within our organization. Unauthorized personnel do not have access to participants' personal data.
- Within the registration system established by Adana Running Club, we process the personal data of our participants in accordance with the principles specified in the membership agreement. Participants join the program by accepting the terms and conditions of the event they register for. We analyze the participation preferences of our members and inform them through the communication channels they have provided under the membership agreement. From the participation data of our members, we generate statistical data that does not contain any personal information.
- There is no transfer of participant data abroad during data processing activities carried out within Adana Running Club.
- With your consent, Adana Running Club may send commercial messages to the contact address you have provided in order to inform you about current campaigns, event dates, or details related to the events, and to allow you to benefit from special offers. To deliver these messages, we may share your contact information with third-party companies with whom we have agreements.
Data Security
Adana Running Club does not transfer the data obtained from data subjects abroad. Unless required by data processing activities, this data is not shared with business or solution partners. The collected data is stored and processed on computers and servers within Adana Running Club or by domestic solution partners that provide data storage services under agreement with Adana Running Club.
Your personal data can be accessed by authorized personnel within Adana Running Club, solely for purposes related to data collection. Adana Running Club personnel do not perform any data processing activities that are not covered by the personal data processing policy. Our Approach to Data Processing

- To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data to the extent that the purpose of processing has been fulfilled.
- To request that, in the event of the correction, deletion, destruction, or anonymization of your personal data, the situation and the actions taken be communicated to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred.
- To object to the emergence of a result to your detriment due to the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems.
- In the event that personal data is processed unlawfully and causes damage, you have the right to request compensation for the damage. Adana Running Club fully complies with your rights arising from this and the related legislation.
